The same passion and playfulness that drives Teague's architectural work is found in the digital experimentations above. Textures, forms, colors--those captured in different parts of the world--are juxtaposed, combined, and interwoven in these digital canvases. More than digital whimsy, Teague herein pursues questions of contemporary cultural relevance. What is the relationship between the natural, mechanical and digital worlds which we simulatneously inhabit? In a post-post-modern world, how can these combinations suggest an additive, more-is-more cultural paradigm, opposed to forces which drive us toward a reductive, homogonized, one-world culture?
